John Nielsen:
Born & raised in the Chippewa Valley, John Nielsen discovered the guitar late in life, but quickly was leading a popular band and doing over 50 shows a year. As the leader of the JFT Party Band, John found a natural talent and passion for engaging an audience and having fun. As a solo artist, he fills the room with the deep, full sound from a custom made 12-string guitar. His smooth vocals are matched to the hundreds of song selections in his library. Many times, he is joined on stage by other musicians and sometimes even guests from the audience. John hands out printed song selection sheets. The audience then selects and determines what selections are performed. This way each show is different and lead by the room. The PA that is used allows for clear definition of the guitar and vocals without the high volumes experienced by many of us in the past. John has performed for audiences as far away as Mexico, Tortola, Hawaii and Alaska.
Caleb Horne
Caleb is a wonderfully talented multi-instrumentalist with amazing vocals too. He is our our 'go to' guy who can perform with TEN different instruments!! Caleb is our ‘bassman’ & vocalist bringing his mandolin into the mix when it serves the song. He plays acoustic guitar when playing with my duo shows. His fun and lively attitude brings an accurate, solid and steady bass playing style to the JFT Party Band. Caleb also performs in a Bluegrass style band called Woodland Spring.
Nici Peper is an American singer-songwriter who captivates audiences with her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Born and raised in a small mid-western town, Nici developed a deep appreciation for music from a young age. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of genres, including gospel, folk, country, and blues, she effortlessly weaves together elements of each to create her own unique sound.
With a voice that exudes both power and vulnerability, Nici's performances have an undeniable emotional resonance. Her ability to connect with her audience on a profound level has earned her a dedicated following and garnered critical acclaim. Whether performing in intimate venues or on large stages, Nici's presence is magnetic, commanding attention and inviting listeners into her world.
You can join in the fun at area clubs. Song lists are passed around so you can select the music you want us to play. A spare 'guest mic' is ready for guest musicians who often stop by and join us or take the stage. My goal is have our guests say something like "that was really a lot of fun" and bring their friends for future shows.
